
Art with Aimee was a 10-week creative art program offered by Today's Youth Tomorrow's Future (TYTF). The program ran on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Trinity Missionary Baptist Church in New London, CT. Led by Aimee Elizabeth, an experienced preschool teacher, author, and illustrator, children explored various art techniques, including painting, drawing, and crafting, which allowed them to express their creativity in diverse ways.
Participants developed essential skills such as problem-solving, fine motor coordination, and teamwork. The program fostered self-expression and built confidence, encouraging young artists to discover their creative potential. The experience culminated in a showcase event where participants proudly displayed their artwork, celebrating their achievements and the artistic journey they undertook together.

Books for Boxing was a 12-week literacy-based program for youth ages 11-14, developed in partnership with Whaling City Athletic Club at the Championship Rounds Center. Participants engaged in a structured reading assignment and completed a brief written activity to earn free Saturday boxing sessions.
This program not only aimed to improve literacy skills but also sought to instill discipline and confidence in young participants. By combining academic achievement with physical activity, Books for Boxing provided a holistic approach to youth development. The program fostered a sense of community and belonging, encouraging participants to support one another both in their reading endeavors and in the boxing ring.

Hosted by AV the Artist in collaboration with Today's Youth Tomorrow's Future, this program took place at Madry Temple Church in New London, CT. Art with AV was a creative arts program designed for students in grades 6-12. This was a 10-week program. Youth explored a variety of art styles and techniques, including portraits, abstract art, graffiti, paint pouring, landscapes, stick figure art, and origami, while learning from AV the Artist and studying the works of legendary artists like Pablo Picasso, Keith Haring, Jean-Michel Basquiat, and Vincent Van Gogh.
This hands-on program built confidence, encouraged self-expression, and taught valuable skills like focus, patience, and critical thinking. The experience culminated in a formal Art Gala, where students proudly showcased, sold, and auctioned their artwork, gaining real-world insight into the entrepreneurial side of art.
Ronnie's Rounds was a personalized boxing and mentorship program led by Coach Ronnie DiNoto at Whaling City Athletic Club in the Championship Rounds Center. The program was designed to provide participants with individualized training and skill development tailored to their unique needs and goals. Through one-on-one mentorship, Coach Ronnie instilled essential values such as confidence, discipline, and resilience, helping participants navigate both the challenges of boxing and life. Ronnie's Rounds aimed to empower youth, equipping them with valuable life skills that extended beyond the ring. The program culminated in a showcase event where participants demonstrated their skills, celebrating their hard work and achievements.

Free Friday Night Basketball Training was an engaging program offered at The Williams School, open to boys and girls ages 7 to 18. The training focused on fundamental skill development and conditioning, providing participants with the opportunity to enhance their basketball abilities in a supportive environment. The program emphasized essential skills such as dribbling, shooting, passing, and defensive techniques. Participants engaged in various drills and conditioning exercises designed to improve their overall fitness and performance on the court. This program not only aimed to develop basketball skills but also fostered teamwork, discipline, and a love for the game. The welcoming atmosphere encouraged young athletes to build confidence and make new friends while enjoying the sport. Free Friday Night Basketball Training was a valuable opportunity for youth to grow both as players and individuals.

The Branford Manor Summer Art Program was an 8-week initiative held at the Branford Manor Community Center in Groton, CT, from mid-June to mid-August. This program aimed to provide the youth of Branford Manor with a creative outlet to explore various art forms and enhance their artistic skills. Participants engaged in hands-on activities such as painting, drawing, and sculpture, allowing them to express their creativity in diverse ways. The program emphasized teamwork and collaboration, fostering a sense of community among the young artists. The experience culminated in a showcase event where participants proudly displayed their artwork, celebrating their achievements and the skills they developed throughout the summer. The Branford Manor Summer Art Program inspired young artists to continue exploring their creative potential and strengthened their connection to the community.
